Terry "The Colonel" Thacker is the Bluegrass DJ for WAWK The Hawk. His show has been running for 15 years and going strong. Terry was born and raised in the mountains of Southeastern Kentucky where he learned to play Bluegrass on his fiddle.

He was given a half hour show for starters, and as the music spread, his popularity grew stronger. Now he has a 2-1/2 hour show on Sundays from 12 noon till 2:30 pm. Terry has a loving family, he and his wife Stacey have been married 27 years and he has one son Kaleb who is 21.
